Joint Institute for Individualisation in a Changing Environment
The Institute for Individualisation in a Changing Environment (JICE) unites researchers from various disciplines of natural sciences, social sciences and humanities systemically investigating individualisation in changing environments across disciplinary boundaries.
The JICE was founded by Bielefeld University and the University of Münster in 2021 and builds on the Transregio Collaborative Research Centre "NC³" (CRC-TRR 212), in which biologists and philosophers have been working on a new synthesis of individualisation since 2018. In addition, members of the JICE cooperate in the collaborative research association "InChangE" as part of the "Profilbildung 2020" of the state of NRW.
